CENTER LAB Becomes Information Partner of the 17th Russian National Landscape Architecture Award

The international urban consultancy CENTER LAB has become an information partner of the 17th Russian National Award for Landscape Architecture and Garden Art, which will take place on November 16–20, 2026, as part of a nationwide festival.

CENTER LAB will provide information support for the festival, while the Laboratory’s experts will participate in its business program. The program will bring together the professional community to discuss current issues in territorial development, landscape architecture, public realm improvement, and the creation of high-quality urban environments.

The Russian National Award for Landscape Architecture and Garden Art was established in 2009. Today, it brings together landscape architects, designers, architects, urbanists, engineers, representatives of professional companies, public authorities, and the expert community.

As part of the Award, the Jury evaluates submissions across 24 categories, including the best urban planning solutions, concepts, methodologies, and design codes for cities and territories. The Award is therefore open not only to landscape architects, but also to urbanists, designers, and representatives of professional architectural firms.

Applications can be submitted through the official Award website until October 20, 2026.

In 2026, the festival program will once again feature its distinctive format of open jury sessions, where applicants present their projects directly to the Jury. The program will also include competition and business tracks, an exhibition of submitted projects, a youth award for students, and opening and closing ceremonies.

The Award is organized by the Association of Landscape Architects of Russia (ALAROS). The partnership between CENTER LAB and ALAROS will expand the festival’s information outreach and bring the Laboratory’s expertise into the professional discussion on the future of Russian cities and public spaces.
