CENTER LAB to Participate in the DalArch ’26 Business Program

The international urban consultancy CENTER LAB will serve as a partner of the business program of the inaugural National Far Eastern Architecture Award DalArch ’26, which will take place in Yakutsk on December 1–2.

CENTER LAB experts will contribute to the professional program of the Award, which is dedicated to key issues shaping the development of cities and territories across the Russian Far East. The agenda will focus on master plans, the development of anchor settlements, design codes, public spaces, the cultural landscape of Far Eastern cities, the tourism potential of territories, and new approaches to creating high-quality urban environments.

The partnership with DalArch ’26 continues CENTER LAB’s work to advance professional dialogue in architecture, urbanism, and territorial planning. The Laboratory brings together Russian and international experts, studies current urban development processes, and creates platforms for knowledge exchange between architects, urbanists, public authorities, businesses, and the wider professional community.

DalArch ’26 is the first National Far Eastern Award in Architecture and Urban Planning, created to recognize the best projects implemented across the Russian Far East and to build a catalogue of successful architectural and urban planning solutions that can be scaled and replicated.

The Award was established in 2025 by the Corporation for the Development of the Far East and Arctic and the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). It is held with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and Arctic, the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation, and DOM.RF. The Award operator is the Agency for strategic development “CENTER”.

Applications for the Award are open until September 11. Projects are evaluated across nine nomination categories, with the winners to be announced during the final events in Yakutsk on December 1–2.
