Public Talk “Children’s Playgrounds, Play Areas and Sports Grounds for Parks, Squares and Residential Complexes”

Ketevan Khelaya, co-founder and CEO of the CENTER Lab International Urban Laboratory, moderated the public talk “Children’s playgrounds, play areas and sports grounds for parks, squares and residential complexes”. The dialogues was held on April 4, in the Central Exhibition Complex Expocenter under the frameworks of a joint business program of the BRICS countries First International Parks Forum and IV International Exhibition Conference ParkSeason Expo.

The panelists included:

– Alexander Lichagin, Product Director, Leber;
– Elena Kaptur, Deputy General Director, Adanat;
– Oleg Yakubovich, Deputy Director of Sales Department, Head of Perspective Projects and VIP Clients Support of the International Certification Center, PhD in Technical Sciences.

Today a children’s playground is not only an entertainment site but also a significant infrastructure complex where little urbanites could feel part of a vibrant and evolving city.

Ketevan discussed, together with the meeting participants, which challenges and issues may face the process of children’s playgrounds development, as well as opportunities for creating innovative and educational spaces enabling holistic development of children and urban environment enrichment.
