Development of the Strategic Master Plan of Tynda is completed

A consortium led by the International Urban Laboratory CENTER Lab has completed the Strategic Master Plan of Tynda.

Tinda is the youngest and northernmost city in the Amur region, which is ready to look for new incentives for further development.

The Consortium sees the future of Tynda as a small city with a capital-level service, accessibility of services and quality of the urban environment. Today, the city needs new alternative jobs for ambitious and motivated local residents, skilled engineers to develop a competitive economy.

The integrated scenario has been chosen as the target scenario for the period up to 2030, which involves the creation of a full-cycle economy: production-logistics and cultural-service clusters, the unification of local business efforts and the development of mineral-supply production in the municipality of Tynda.

The social-economic model of the integration scenario is based on diversification of business activities, increasing the number of enterprises in other sectors of the economy, except logistics, construction, and development of urban services (i.e. household and transport services, public food, information technologies).

For the image of Tynda 2030, not only comfortable living conditions are important, but also a variety of leisure opportunities, gaining knowledge to develop personal qualities, uniting citizens for communication and interaction. Within the framework of work on the master plan, attractive places of the city were identified, which also need to be renewed and supplemented with city services.

The Strategic Master Plan for the development of the city of Tynda sets out the principles, priorities, goals and expected results of managing the city’s social, economic and spatial development.
