Maria Sedletskaya took part in the Russia 1 Vesti program

Former industrial zones of Moscow are territories with great potential for integrated development. Now they are waiting for their turn for transformation. Since the beginning of 2022, preparations have been underway for their reorganization into business centers, residential neighborhoods, shops, kindergartens and schools.

The head of the Analytical Group CENTER Lab Maria Sedletskaya commented on the program for preserving former industrial zones and adapting them to modern realities in the Russia 1 Vesti program.

For the territories of the former industrial zones, multifunctionality is characteristic. It will create a balanced and self-sufficient region.

Maria highlighted the multifunctionality of these territories, thanks to which balanced and self-sufficient areas will appear in place of wastelands and abandoned buildings.
