The development of the Strategic Master Plan for the city of Tynda in the Amur Region has begun

Laboratory team in cooperation with leading market experts begins developing a Strategic Master Plan for Tynda. It is the youngest and northernmost city in Amur Region, and a key station of the Baikal-Amur Mainline (BAM).

Work on the project began in April 2022. During this time, a Comprehensive Analysis of the region was conducted and a Conceptual Master Plan prepared. In September, the Laboratory team began the final stage of work – the creation of the Strategic Spatial Planning Document for Tynda.

Composition of the Strategic Master Plan:

2.         Urban Development Scenarios

3.         Urban Development Vision

4.         Key Urban Development Projects

5.         Main Directions of Urban Development

6.         Master Plan Implementation Plan (roadmap)

7.         Projects’ Investment Passports

What will be prepared?

  • City mission, principles, goals, objectives and development targets
  • Spatial development model, which will take into account indicators of the predicted value of the urban environment quality index
  • Investment sites of key projects with description of activities required for implementation
  • Roadmap, including timeline, indicative cost and sources of funding for key projects
  • Recommendations for amending the current documents of the city’s strategic and spatial development

The Strategic Plan will allow the youngest city in Amur region to become a promising settlement with a metropolitan level of service quality and accessibility.
