Vector Naslediya-2024 has started

A school for municipal employees “Vector Naslediya-2024” has been launched in the Leningrad Region.

Maria Sedletskaya, head of the analytical group of the International Urban Laboratory “CENTER Lab”, took part in the launch of the school for municipal employees “Vector Naslediya-2024”.

As part of the launch of the project, experts in the field of cultural heritage preservation and urban environment development discussed issues of cultural heritage, preservation of the historical environment and master planning.

Among the lecturers are experts from the Branch of the Federal State Budgetary Institution “SNIIP of the Ministry of Construction of Russia” ,”Institute of the General Plan of Moscow”, the Center for Architectural and Restoration Research of Kazan State University of Architecture and Engineering, “ASIRIS”, the International Urban Laboratory “CENTER Lab”.

During the discussion, Maria Sedletskaya spoke about the relevance of the master plan as a modern urban planning tool. Using comparative examples of master plans in recent years, she shared the key components of the work from a comprehensive assessment to an action plan for implementation.

For the tourism sector, the master plan defines promising territories, localization of projects for the development of tourist infrastructure connected by a single route network. The potential for commercialization of the sphere is influenced by the elaboration of a value proposition for each target group and the format of image events of the event calendar.
