TOP-10 Participants of the Competition for Uspenskoe Estate Were Elected

On May 28, 2024 a strategic session under the frameworks of the Nationwide competition for the sociocultural concept of the Uspenskoe Estate ensemble territorial development was held.

According to Sergei Georgievskii, co-founder of CENTER Lab, representative of the Competition’s operator, “The competition’s strategic session enabled us to look at the Estate at absolutely different angles and consider numerous interpretations of its past and present on the way to a vision of the future for this object. The combined experience of 37 companies formed into 18 teams to present their offers highlighted all possible development scenarios and allowed to choose the TOP-10 participants which will work over the concept. We will visit the Estate this week all together to explore every corner of the ensemble to start detailed elaboration.”

The list of applicants included professional organizations in the field of architecture, design, content and functional programming of the development of public spaces, experienced in handling objects of cultural heritage.

Ten teams uniting 19 companies were shortlisted based on the results of the strategic session, which will continue their participation in the competition.
