CENTER Lab turns 2 today!

We are happy that he CENTER Lab team has achieved great success during this time. And on our Birthday, we want to tell you about them.

The CENTER Lab projects cover regions of Russia with different strategic priorities and objectives. The nationwide competition for the development of an architectural concept of the social and cultural center in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky is in full swing, and next week a strategic session for the finalists will take place there.

In cooperation with the Amur Region Urban Development Center, the CENTER Lab team developed the Conceptual Plan for the Town of Svobodny, and also the Strategic Master Plan of Tynda, Anur Region. We are proud that the Strategic Master Plan for the Town of Tynda was evaluated at the highest level and presented to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin in March 2023.

In 2022, Open Nationwide Competition for the development of standard designs for residential buildings and social and cultural facilities was held. This competition, held jointly with the DOM.RF Foundation, resonated widely and gave momentum to the development of wooden house construction, which is actively supported at the federal level.

We are glad that our projects in Kazan continue to develop actively. In December 2022, the authorities of Tatarstan approved the territory planning design for a new building of the Kamal Theater to be constructed — it was selected according to the results of the International Competition.

In March 2022, the Open International COpen International Competition for the development of an architectural and planning renovation concept for the city of Norilsk up to 2035 ended, and the researchon the topic of “Assessment of the Development Potential of the City of Norilsk” was prepared. This research is published on the TATLIN digital library portal which is the leading architecture and art publishing house in Russia.

The activities of CENTER Lab are inextricably connected with the methodology for the redevelopment of industrial zones in the city of Moscow. As part of the Industrial quarters special project, created by the Moscow’s Complex for Economic Policy and Moscow Industrial Relations, a set of excursions to the industrial quarters of the capital, in which the history of industrial territories, modernity and the future of the metropolis are intertwined, was held.

For 2 years we have won professional achievements and are not going to stop there. Our projects are entering the international arena, and we are sure that new ambitious objectives lie ahead of us!
