Publication of article about the comprehensive study of Tynda

December 28, 2022

On the architectural portal totalarch.com, the article of The head of the analytical group CENTER Lab of the International Urban Laboratory Maria Sedletskaya in co-authorship with the founders of the research agency Synopsis Group Pavel and Yulia Stepantsov, dedicated to the Comprehensive analysis of the town of Tynda, was published.

The following methods were used in the study:

  • Sociological surveys and interviews;
  • Spatial, socioeconomic, environmental and cluster analyses.

Today, Tinda is a center for the study of the heritage of “century building”, and one of its “strong points” lies in its accumulated experience.

Special attention should also be paid to the environment. Therefore, the development of environmental and sports tourism in Tynda is perceived not only as a way to diversify the economy, but also as an opportunity to show visitors from other regions the “untouched” and “wild” nature.

However, the town has a number of problems. The most acute imprortant is the outflow of young specialists and the dependence of the town budget on the activities of the town -forming enterprises.

Tynda’s current development is not increasing human capital due to a lack of diversity of opportunities. To overcome the migration of the population, it is necessary to expand educational areas and develop new competences for self-realization.

Restricted recreation is another reason for negative migration. The town has virtually no cultural and entertainment centers, as well as places for leisure activities among teenagers and young people.

Therefore, in the master plan, among the driver projects, it is planned to create an educational center with programs to support business initiatives, as well as a multifunctional winter sports center and a physical culture and health complex.

The project envisages the development of an economy that provides infrastructure, the creation of public spaces in close connection with territorial branding and a single design code of the town.

Integrated immersion in the context of the main problems and needs will strengthen the image of Tynda as the capital of the BAM, where active and initiative-driven residents live.
