Within the framework of the III All-Russian Congress of Restorers, a conference was held in Shue

From 8 to 10 December, the events of the III All-Russian Congress of Restorers, dedicated to the Year of Cultural Heritage of the Peoples of Russia, were held in Shue.

The place of the event was the Pavlov merchant mansion. Now it houses the Pavlovsky Cultural Center, which is a good example of the careful attitude to the historical heritage. Within the framework of the Congress, the participants got acquainted with successful examples of adaptation of cultural heritage objects in the regions of Russia, as well as visited Ivanovo, Ples and Shuya with an excursion program.

The key event of the forum was the conference “Adapting cultural heritage objects for modern use”.

The Ivanovo region has proved itself very well in recent years in the framework of federal competitions for the improvement of the historical environment and for attracting cultural heritage objects to the economic turnover.

The buildings of the railway stations in Ivanovo and Shue are examples of preservation of historical heritage. During the restoration, the specialists managed not only to restore their original appearance, but also to create new points of attraction for city residents and tourists.
